A Safe Beginning. A Community Beside You.

Arsi Oromo Self-Help Association is developing responsible capacity to support vulnerable refugees from around the world who are eligible to resettle in Canada.

Every refugee sponsorship undertaking will follow current Canadian laws and immigration requirements. Cases will use a documented vulnerability-based process and proceed only when the appropriate sponsorship pathway, settlement plan, resources and approvals are in place.

Important Notice

Refugee sponsorship programs and intake requirements can change. The Association will work only through authorized Canadian pathways and verify current requirements before accepting or submitting any case.

Our Guiding Principles

Every humanitarian action we take is grounded in accountability, legality, and genuine care for those we serve.

Authorized Pathways Only

We work exclusively through official Canadian immigration and sponsorship channels — no exceptions.

Documented Process

Every case follows a documented vulnerability-based assessment with full transparency to our Board of Directors.

Community-Led Support

Sponsored individuals are welcomed into our community network with settlement support, orientation, and ongoing care.

Legal Compliance

All sponsorship activities are reviewed for compliance with current Canadian laws and immigration requirements before proceeding.

Partner With Us

We welcome partnerships with organizations, funders, and individuals who share our commitment to dignity, safety, and responsible humanitarian action.

The Association does not promise or guarantee refugee sponsorship approval. All cases are subject to Canadian government review and approval.
